Radical Orchiectomy

A radical orchiectomy is the surgical procedure in which a testicle is removed due to testicular cancer. Radical orchiectomy's are used in all testicular cancers even those in which the cancer has spread. Once the testicle(s) has been removed a prosthetic testicle may be used to replace the removed testicle.
